EUROFARM S.A. was founded in 2001 in the city of Preveza (North Western Greece), as an aquaculture company by Dr. Panos Dendrinos. 

The company provides complete services to the aquaculture industry in Greece and Asia. It specialises in the design and installation of recirculation system units, both hatchery and on-growing, for both marine and freshwater species. It operates one of the most advanced production units of European eel (Anguilla anguilla), American eel (Anguilla rostrata) and African eel (Anguilla mossambica) with closed system recirculation technology in Europe.



 

EUROFARM S.A. services include technical and financial feasibility studies, business plans, design of new systems and installation, equipment supply, system audits and technical and management support.

 

 

Dr. Panos Dendrinos

Dr. Dendrinos Is an aquaculture engineer (BSc Agriculture University of Athens; MSc University of N. Wales; PhD University of Liverpool) and is the major stakeholder of EUROFARM S.A.

Since 1986 Dr. Dendrinos has worked as a top-level manager of production and administration for public and privately held aquaculture companies in marine and fresh water aquacultures. He has also participated in numerous aquaculture studies for national and private projects.

Dr. Ioannis Tzovenis

Dr. Tzovenis Is a marine biotechnology specialist (BSc in Biology, University of Athens; PhD University of Gent) and is responsible for the R&D of EUROFARM S.A.

He has worked extensively in plankton culture and biotechnology and works as professor of aquaculture in the TEI of Epirus and as researcher in marine biotechnology in the University of Athens participating in several research programs. He has been working as consultant for several Greek and European companies in the fields of aquaculture and marine biotechnology.

Dr. Tzovenis is a member of Greek and international organizations (Geotechnical Chamber of Greece, secretary in Greek Phycological Society, member of the European Aquaculture Society, member of the Executive Committee of International Society for Applied Phycology, member of the working group for novel foods of European Algal Biomass Association) and has published and presented scientific projects in numerous conferences and journals.

Konstantinos Dendrinos

Konstantinos Dendrinos holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the American College of Greece, a Master's degree in Shipping, Trade & Finance from CASS Business School (City University London) and an MBA from the ALBA School of Business.

He has worked in the Shipping industry for several years holding positions in the Operations Department and Chartering. In 2015 he founded his own exporting company focusing on branding Greek food products and exporting mainly to the Asian market.

He joined Eurofarm in 2018 and is in charge of the Business Development and Sales departments of the company.
